John Paul Davis, 56, passed from this life to be with his LORD November 12, 2009 in Dallas, Texas. John was born September 1, 1953 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to parents, Paul Harold Davis and Nelda Laverne (Nichols) Davis. John had lived in the Dallas area for over twenty years. He held two bachelors degrees and worked as the Operations and Project Manager for the North Texas Municipal Water District in Wylie, Texas. John was a member of Firewheel Church in Garland, Texas. He was a member of the Common Bond Adult Bible Fellowship class. John's wife Cindy Davis survives him as well as his mother Nelda Laverne Davis, children and stepchildren, Jahnae Davis, Matthew Davis, Kevin MeGown and Kory Osborn, granddaughters, Madison Davis and Matilda Osborn, sister Mary Bugg and brother David Davis. He is preceded in death by his father Paul Davis. Visitation will be 6 - 8 P.M. Monday evening November 16, 2009 at Charles W Smith and Sons Sachse Chapel Location, 2925 Fifth Street, Sachse, Texas 75048, 972-414-5050. Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Tuesday November 17, 2009 at Firewheel Church, 1600 W Campbell Road, Garland, Texas 75040, 972-495-4818. John's service will conclude at the church. Interment service will be 2 P.M. November 18, 2009 in Okmulgee Cemetery in Okmulgee Oklahoma under the direction of the McClendon-.Winters Funeral Home 918-756-1677.
