Johnnie Ray Smith's Obituary
Johnnie Ray Smith, 67 passed away suddenly in Muskogee on Tuesday evening December 4, 2018 surrounded by his wife. Johnnie was born on September 26, 1951 to the late Wesley and Elsie Alice (Simmons) Smith in Okemah, Oklahoma. Johnnie married Judy Arnold on February 19, 1972 in Okmulgee. He enjoyed playing horse shoes. Johnnie always joked around but no matter what he was always there for you.
Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents, twin sister Bonnie Arnold, brothers Keith Smith, Rod Smith, and Darrell Smith and sister Gloria Nadine Smith. Those left to cherish the memories of Jonnie is his wife of 46 years Judy Smith, brother Harley Smith and wife Arlinda, sisters-in-law Joann Smith and Opal Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Morris Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
