Joe Cecil Holden's Obituary
May 6, 2011 after a long illness. He was born on December 31, 1960 in Okmulgee to Cecil Leslie and Mary Shirley (Bias) Holden. Joe was a great dad and a proud grandpa. He was the type of man that would do anything for anybody. He always had a smile and will be deeply missed.
Joe should be remembered for the amazing amount of love and care he gave his mother, Mary, until her death in 2010. He was also preceded in death by his father, Cecil in 2004, and his father-in-law, Waddell Lauderdale.
Joe is survived by his brother Randy Holden of Cushing, wife Terri Holden-Lauderdale of Sapulpa, three daughters: Jeni Lee and husband Bill of Sapulpa, Amie Schwartz and husband Daniel of Broken Arrow, and Missie Conner and husband Kenny of Kiefer, ten grandchildren: Ricky, Jacob, Christopher, Chase, Peyton, Samuel, Trinity, Jersey, Canyon, and Riley, his precious cousins Pam and Gary Doty, nephew Jason Holden, niece Lindsey Holden, and a host of other family and friends.
A celebration of Joe’s life will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at his daughter Missie’s home, 204 N. Main Kiefer, Oklahoma 74041.
