Joe Julian Acree's Obituary
Joe Julian Acree passed away Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025 in Tulsa at 80 years of age. Joe was born May 10, 1944 in Liberal, Kansas. He attended Wilson Grade School in Okmulgee and graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1962. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era and later was in the Army Reserve. Joe then attended OSU-IT (OSU Tech) and graduated with an Associate in Applied Science. He later attended Green Country Technology Center where he earned a Certificate of Digital Media/Multimedia. He worked in retail and in a glass plant. Joe was a trustee and song leader at the Church of Christ in Beggs. Joe's interest included aviation, photography, film making and church. He had special memories of his childhood with his parents and grandparents.
