Jeffrey Lynn James' Obituary
Jeffrey Lynn James 53, resident of Okmulgee, died on Saturday, April 16, 2011. He was born in Okmulgee to Roy Eugene and Patsy Lois (Good) James, Jr. on July 2, 1957. He graduated Okmulgee High School and attended OSU Tech for his Journeyman electrician license. Jeff worked with his brother at James Gang Electric as a Journeyman electrician for the past 4 years. He had retired from PSO. Jeff enjoyed playing the guitar, being with friends and family, listening to music, riding his Harley. He was “Uncle Jeff” to everyone. He was a very proud father and papa.
Survivors include two daughters Carey and husband Allen Bowen of Okmulgee, Janell and husband Jami McDaniel of Fairbury, Nebraska, two sons Joseph Miller and Michelle Peoples of Owasso, and Jay James and Christina Brewer of Okmulgee, one brother David E. and wife Aundrea James, Okmulgee and a sister Connie and husband Tom Bradley of Arab, Alabama, and seven grandchildren.
Services will be on Thursday, 10 am at the Second Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Bahr and assisted by Rev. Don Baker. Interment will be in the Morris Cemetery. There will be no viewing. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Ryder, Marshal King, Jason Gayer, Don Clark, Billy Lane, Justin Shrum, Bobby Henderson and Patrick Carney. Condolences may be made at mcclendon-winters.com.
