Steve, Your dad sounds just like the person I would have expected him to be, warm and caring and fun to be with. Thanks for sharing him with us way 19 years ago at Frenchglen.
Greetings and love to your mother. I will be thinking of you all.

I always said Uncle Jim was my favorite. I'll never forget going for a ride in his jeep when I was a little girl and falling out the back. I was unhurt and we all shared a good laugh over it! He was a joy.
My prayers are with all of his family.##imported-begin##Debra Captain##imported-end##
I am sorry to hear of Mr. Brownfield's passing. I have many fond memories of him from when I was a boy. He took me frog gigging late at night on a huge pond once, we caught quite a few frogs and I had some of the best frog legs in my life.
We used to play basketball for hours and he loved the game. He was always pleasant and I loved talking with him. He was full of country wisdom and could tell many stories. He will not be forgotten.
Sincerely,
Jim Williams

We have fond memories of Jim. The ease that Jim got to know people and make them feel comfortable and welcome is a great trait that we see his has passed on his family and we value knowing that he passed on to fondly remember him by. May his memory be honored by those who knew him by seeking to comfort all.##imported-begin##Lyle Hibler & Family##imported-end##
We became friends of Jim and Iris when their son, Stephen, married our daughter, Claire. We are so sorry Jim is gone but we know he has a most sincere and loving son in Stephen, he and Iris knew and know of his deep care for them. We are sorry to know of this great loss and think of them as they all make this journey through this life filled with joy and sadness.##imported-begin##Ross and Jeanne Hibler##imported-end##
