James Henry Davidson's Obituary
James Henry Davidson, a resident of Kiefer, died Tuesday morning, August 3, 2010 in Sapulpa at the age of 85. He was born July 17, 1925 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Noah Ruben and Maud (Burkett) Davidson. James married Mary Jane Phillips on November 22, 1944 in Durant, Oklahoma. He was an oilfield worker and backhoe operator, and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. James was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Survivors include his children, Charles Davidson and wife Cathy of Beggs, Jackie Davidson and wife Ramona of McAlister, Mary Garrison and husband Ruben of Glenpool and Bonnie Rupe and husband John of Skiatook, sisters, Bessie Meinke of Boswell, Neula Sewell of Broken Arrow and Lela Vaughan of Leveland, Texas, fourteen grandchildren and forty-six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 6, 2010 at the First Assembly of God Church in Beggs with Brother John Rupe officiating. Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 1-8 P.M. and the family will receive friends starting at 6 P.M.
