James Eugene "Jim" O'Neil's Obituary
James (Jim) Eugene O’Neil passed away on January 11, 2021. He was born to Joseph and Mary Lee (Macstravick) in Okmulgee on April 26, 1946.
Jim attended St. Anthony Catholic School through the eighth grade, then attended Okmulgee High School, where he graduated with the class of 1964.
Jim was a shift supervisor at Ball Glass Corp for thirty-nine years. He was a member of the Okmulgee Elks and was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He was proud of his Irish Ancestry.
Survivors include his wife Karen of the home, his beloved daughter Jennifer Atkinson and husband Bennett of Jenks, daughters Kimberly Taylor and husband Quint of Henryetta and Jenny Kennedy and husband Wes of Edmond, grandchildren Mitchell and Sean Atkinson, Chase Taylor, Maison Lang, Dillion Kennedy, and two great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Mick and Dick, sisters Mary Katherine, Patricia, and Maureen.
Friends may visit the funeral home for a Time of Remembrance on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Due to the Covid Pandemic, a private Memorial Mass for his immediate family only, will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Joshua Litwick officiating. Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery.
The family hopes that in the near future there can be a time of sharing memories and hugging one another.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
