Irene Elizabeth (Henderson) Somerville, 91, of McAlester, died Sunday, July 24, 2011 at McAlester Regional Health Center. She was born June 5, 1920 in Bald Hill, Oklahoma to the late Clinton Vernon and Virginia Muriel (Fox) Henderson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Jennings Somerville on March 1, 2006. A committal service will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Beggs Cemetery with Reverend Rich Brasher officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
