Imogene Fewell Hendrickson's Obituary
Imogene Fewell Hendrickson was born Thursday, August 1, 1912 and passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022, both at the same home located five miles west of Beggs. Mrs. Hendrickson was one hundred and nine years old. She was a graduate of Beggs High School, where she was Valedictorian. After graduating from high school, she worked for Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa and Wichita. Mrs. Hendrickson married William Ray “W.R.” Hendrickson on July 20, 1931, at the First Baptist Church in Beggs. She remained a longtime member of the First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening.
Mrs. Hendrickson was preceded in death by her parents, Rollo P. Fewell and Winnie (Beard) Fewell, her husband, W.R. Hendrickson, six siblings and an uncle, Clay Fewell.
Survivors include her daughters, Bobbie Swearingen and Patricia Holman; grandchildren and their families; James David Carter, his wife Courtney and children, Matthew Eans Carter and Victoria Carter; Chris Landon Swearingen, his wife Kimberly and children, Chris Landon Swearingen II, Chase Addison Swearingen, Rachel Ann Swearingen, Rebecca Grace Swearingen and Marshall Porter Swearingen; and William Todd Swearingen, wife Jennifer and children, Blake Swearingen and Sydney Swearingen; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
