Greta Jo Hall's Obituary
Greta Jo Hall was born October 14, 1936 in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma to the late C.P. (Buddy) and Willie Voyle (Morrison) Pounds. She passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at her home in Winchester. She was 84 years of age. Greta married Willis O’neal Hall on March 9, 1956 at Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma. In 1971, Greta and Willis moved their family to the Beggs/Winchester area. Greta was a homemaker, gardener, seamstress and retied banker. She was also a builder of churches. She was a member of the Natura Baptist Church.
Greta was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a grandson, Marshall Mason.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Hall of Beggs, daughter, DeDe Dunkle and husband Michael of Eufaula, their daughter Megan Cook and husband Caleb, their children, Damian McAuley, Haven Cook and Skylar Cook, all of Stidham, son, Scott Hall and lifetime partner Glenda Tyre of Beggs, their daughter, Mandi Mason and Vince Helton of Sapulpa, their children, Lane Failing, Mariah Failing, Loren Garcia and McKenzie Helton of Sapulpa and son Kent Hall of Tulsa, brothers, Paul Pounds and wife Sharon and their son Ethan, all of Shawnee and David Pounds and wife Carla and their son Michael, all of Okarche, Oklahoma.
Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Natura Baptist Church with Pastor Scott McCullah and Reverend David Hamilton officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 PM at the Fort Cobb Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Jason Sarber, Jerry Hill, Steve Bright, Roni Clegg, Orvil Wood and Roy Thompson. Honorary casketbearers will be Jim Grace, Kris Knauss and Ronnie Hardesty.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Greta’s name to the Leukemia Society or Meals on Wheels.
