Glenda A. Johnson's Obituary
Glenda A. Johnson, a resident of Morris, passed from this life at the age of 85 on May 18, 2021 in Tulsa. She was born March 5, 1935 to the late Opie Johnson and Retha (Williams) Burke. Glenda enjoyed coloring, drawing, and being outdoors. She loved animals but most of all she loved every person she encountered. Glenda was a kindhearted person that thought of everyone as a friend.
She was preceded in death by parents Lee and Retha Burke, brother Buster Burke, sister Martha Harris, and family members Charles and Lee Burke.
Those left to cherish the memories of Glenda is her sister Dorene Mudd and husband Jim, nieces Shanna Nunley and husband Dennis, and Kristie Riley, nephew Dustin Harris, and a multitude of great nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
A funeral service for Glenda will be held at the 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 21, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Morris with Reverend Ray Moffeit to officiate. Pallbearers will be Joe May, Dusty Shipley, Steve Vardel, Nicky Wise, Joe Berryhill, and David Shannon.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
