Gerald Don Fowler's Obituary
Gerald Don Fowler, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at his home in Boynton, Oklahoma. He was born November 23, 1944 in Boynton, Oklahoma to James Arlin and Euphemia (Hill) Fowler. He joined the United States Army in July 16, 1968 and was honorably discharged July 15, 1974. Gerald married Jeannie (Schlinkert) Fowler on February 19, 2011 in Miami, Oklahoma. He was a proud veteran that loved his children. Gerald enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, daughters, Tracy Tackett of Porter, Rheta Ishmael of Okmulgee, and Janet Morrello of Bryan, Texas, a son, Eric Fowler of Okmulgee, brothers, James Fowler of Boynton and Lloyd Fowler of Coweta, sister, Norma Pullen of Boynton, step-son, Wayne Richardson of Braggs, step-daughters, Donna Eacret of Rodgersville, Missouri and Sandra Lantz of Boynton, eighteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous friends.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Liberty Cemetery in Liberty Morris. Pastor Aaron Kinnin will officiate. Military Honors will be provided by the Patriot Guard Riders. Arrangements and Cremation Services are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
