Evelyn Irene Perkins' Obituary
Evelyn Irene Perkins, 92 former longtime Okmulgee resident died in Oklahoma City, OK on Saturday, April 20, 2013. She was born to Don and Luna Mae (Paris) Parisho in Cushing, OK on September 1, 1920. She was married to Carl W. Perkins Jr. After Carl’s death in 1981 she worked as a secretary for the Oklahoma State Senate until her retirement. Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter; Jan Perkins of Oklahoma City, OK, a son Van Ryan Perkins of California, two grandchildren; Ralph W. and wife Bridgett Viersen IV of Holiday Island, Arkansas, Angie Denise Viersen and husband Scott Butler of Edmond, Oklahoma, and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Viewing will also be on Saturday 9:00 until service time. Condolences may be made at mcclendon-winters.com
