Erik Sean Strain's Obituary
Erik Sean Strain passed away on October 20, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born December 22, 1975, in DeQueen Arkansas.
Erik graduated from Okmulgee High School with the class of 1994. He attended Oklahoma State University and Langston University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology. Erik worked as a probation officer with Tulsa County for a number of years.
Erik is preceded in death by his father Dan M. Strain, brother Ted Michael Strain, grandparents Reverend and Mrs. Isaac James and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Strain.
He is survived by his mother Cledith Harding of the home, sisters Shanon Strain of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Kandace Kimmel of Prescott, Arkansas, brother Kevin Cox of Prescott, Arkansas, biological father Kerry Cook of Saratoga, Arkansas, four nephews, three nieces, aunt Evelyn Tims of Oklahoma City, his four legged babies Lucy and Tanchi, and many more relatives. He will be greatly missed by his friends and those that knew him.
Erik looked forward to Tuesdays where he had a permanent tee time to play golf.
Graveside services will be held 2:00PM Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Kulli-Chito United Methodist Cemetery in Broken Bow, Oklahoma Minister Kim McKinney officiating. Pall bearers will be Ashton English, Dennis James, Jason Stanley, Garrett James and Charles Forbit.
