Elisa Ramirez Santos' Obituary
Elisa Ramirez Santos was born September 25, 1947, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to Natalio and Leocadia (Santos) Ramirez.
Elisa was a loving and great mother to her daughters and many more. All who met her loved her. She was a strong willed, hardworking woman with a strong faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus.
Elisa had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus and loved reading her bible. She prayed for so many people over the years. Eliza worked as a care giver. She enjoyed doing word puzzles, cooking, and sewing. She was a founding member of Iglesia Bautista El Calvario in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.
Elisa is preceded in death by her parents Natalio and Leocadia.
She is survived by her husband, Marcelino Medina, daughters Gretchen Downing and husband Darren of Okmulgee, OK, Maria Cortes and husband Gabriel of San Antonio, TX, Aixa Medina and husband Emmanuel Diaz of San Juan, PR, grandchildren Esteban Cortes and wife Crystal of Ft. Worth, TX, Andres Cortes of Ft. Worth, TX, Fabian Benitez of San Juan, PR, granddaughters Natalie Downing of Okmulgee, OK, Jessica Downing of Okmulgee, OK, Aliya Downing of Okmulgee OK and Kamila Diaz of San Juan, PR.
Visitation for Elisa will be 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Thursday, June 30, 2022, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2022, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Gabriel Cortes officiating. Pall bearers will be Marcelino Medina, Gabriel Cortes, Esteban Cortes, Andres Cortes, Emmanuel Diaz, and Darren Downing.
Interment will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
