Edgar Lee Hill's Obituary
Edgar “Ed” Lee Hill, a Beggs resident, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 80 years of age. He was born December 6, 1941, in Heavener, Oklahoma to the late Albert and Helen (Thorton) Hill. Ed worked for the City of Beggs for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, his chickens, taking walks, and his dog. When it was nice out you could catch him mowing the yard and doing some gardening. He loved to plant flowers. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Preceding Ed in death were his parents, Albert and Helen (Thorton) Hill and brothers, Earnest and Wallace Hill. His survivors include his sister, Linda Bales, nephews and nieces, Chris Bales, Eddie Hill, Earnest Hill, Kelly Ray, Dawni Seymore and Kim Wolf, along with many other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Beggs Cemetery in Beggs, Oklahoma.
