Don Davis' Obituary
Don Wayne Davis was born in Jacksonville, Texas on September 4, 1938 to the late John Thomas and Thelma (Pugh) Davis. He passed away on Friday evening, February 12, 2016 in Okmulgee. He was 77 years of age. Don served his country for many years as a radioman in the United States Navy. He married his wife, Pat Davis, on February 4, 1961 in Carson City, Nevada. Don loved to go fishing, and even made his own lures. He enjoyed going on road trips with his family and grandchildren.
Don is preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Left to cherish Don's memory are his loving wife of 55 years, Pat Davis, of the home, daughter Teresa and husband Richard Hamilton of Broken Arrow, grandson Andrew Sturm of San Diego, California, granddaughter Elizabeth Lucie and husband Evan of Tulsa, and great-grandchildren Rylie and Atlas, along with brother, Stacy Davis and wife Edith, sister, Dorothy Morris, and sister Pat Chandler all of Jacksonville, Texas, brother John Davis and wife Phyllis of Houston, Texas, and brother Tommy Davis and wife Elaine of Gulf Port, Mississippi.
The Family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of St. Francis Hospital and the nurses of Grace Hospice for their loving care.
