Darlene R. Rice's Obituary
Darlene R. Rice, 59, died in Tulsa on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. She was born in Lexington, KY on September 28, 1951 to Charles William and Dorothy June (Washburn) Reed Sr. She moved to Oklahoma from Indiana 35 years ago. Darlene loved crafting and shopping. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Her mother preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband Larry Rice of the home, her father Charles William Reed Sr. of Lakeland, Fl, three sisters Charlene and husband Kenneth Simmons of Wagoner, OK, Krystal and husband Dan Boyle of Cincinnati, OH, Melissa and husband Mile Richardson of Lakeland, FL, three brothers Charles W. and wife Nancleen Reed Jr. of Lexington, KY, Timothy and wife Virginia Reed of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Wayne and wife Theresa Reed of Ft. Dale, Indiana, two step-sons Brian Rice of Mounds, OK, and Carey Rice of Kiefer, OK, four grandchildren Ty, Brody, Coby and Katie.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Beggs. Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery.
