Darla N. Maxwell's Obituary
Darla N. Maxwell passed away on November 20, 2018 in Morris. She was 46 years old. She was born on Friday, August 11, 1972 to Melvin and Linda (Hager) Turley in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Darla graduated from Morris High School in 1990. She worked at Wal-Mart for 28 years. In her free time she really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and going to the casino. Darla liked doing anything outdoors. She never met a stranger, and was a friend to everyone. She truly worshipped the ground her daughter and son walked on.
Darla is preceded in death by her husband Matt Maxwell, father Melvin Turley, and sister Jan Sparks and sister-in-law Carla Turley. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her son Dawson Barnes, daughter Cortney Dolan and girlfriend Jessie, step-daughter Mandra Maxwell, sister Carm Warren and husband Mike, brother Tim Turley, mother Linda Turley, brother-in-law Kevin Sparks, nieces Amber, Angel and Kaylee, nephews Kendall and Dustin and all of her Wal-Mart family.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Crosstown Pentecostal Church with Pastor Mickey Baldwin to officiate. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 8:00pm. The family will be present to receive guest Thursday evening from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
