Daisy Lee Johnson's Obituary
Daisy Lee Johnson, born in Lawton to the late Hoarce Slape and Marie (Childress) Slape on October 22, 1928. Daisy passed from this life at the age of 92 on October 6, 2021 at her home in Tulsa. She married David Johnson on July 27, 1946 and spent 75 years together before his passing in 2012. The two had two daughters and two sons. Daisy worked as a phone operator for AT&T for 30years before retiring in 1986. She enjoyed working outside in her garden.
Daisy is preceded in death by her parents, husband David, son Dennis Wayne Johnson, and brothers Eugene and Adiran Slape.
Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her son David Lynn Johnson of Katie Texas; daughters Diana Lee Sneath and husband Gary of Wichita, Kansas and Paulette Dotson of Tulsa; brothers Johnny Wayne Slape of North Carolina and James Slape of Okmulgee; sister Jerolene Hendrix and husband Truitt of Okmulgee.
Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee
