Curtis Henry Savage's Obituary
Curtis Henry Savage, sixty-four-year old resident of Oklahoma City, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023. He was born August 24, 1958 in Okmulgee to the late Jack and Jewel (Mantooth) Savage. Curtis spent most of his life in Okmulgee and worked at Okmulgee Activity Center. He liked to set the dinner table and do jigsaw puzzles. His favorite cartoon was Johnny Quest, and he enjoyed 1960s shows like Gilligan’s Island and anything Batman-related. He also liked building with Lincoln Logs and Tinker Toys, and was known to like practicing to be a barber.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.
Survivors include three siblings, Howard Savage, Joyce Alfred, and Roger Savage. He was uncle to four and great-uncle to five, and was proud to hold them all when they were young.
A funeral service for Curtis will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery.
