Collin Lane Rogers' Obituary
Collin Lane Rogers, 24 of Okmulgee passed away Wednesday evening, November 20, 2019. Collin was born to Brian Rogers and Rebecca (Purdy) Rogers in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 13, 1995. Collin loved being outdoors, fishing was one of his favorite things to do. He was a social butterfly and a great friend to all who knew him. Collin was a boomer sooner fan and enjoyed listening to music. He was a graduate of the Beggs Demons class of 2013. The best title Collin carried was being an uncle to Hadley, Maddux, and Marshall. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Jim Purdy.
Those left to cherish the memories of Collin are his parents Brian Rogers and wife Julie of Okmulgee and Rebecca Rogers of Oklahoma City, sister Chloe Hillger of Claremore, brother Brandon Rogers of Broken Arrow, niece Hadley Hillger, nephews Maddux and Marshall Hillger, step siblings Jason Sadler of Okmulgee, Jenny Bush of Okmulgee, and Gavin Sadler of Beggs, grandparents David Rogers of Wetumka, Joyce Hodge of Okmulgee, and Jim and Rosie Sharp of Beggs.
A memorial service for Collin will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
