Cindy L Beesley's Obituary
Cynthia “Cindy” Beesley passed away at her home on January 01, 2023, in Beggs, Oklahoma. She was born in Sedan, Kansas on April 15, 1952, to Ben and Regena (Boarts) Ryan. She was the youngest of four Children. Shortly after Cindy was born the family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is where Cindy grew up and graduated from East Central High School with the class of 1970.
Cindy began her career with Safeway than Homeland as she grew into the GM position transitioning to VMC. She retired from the merchandising business ending her career working for Association Wholesale Groceries.
Cindy developed a love for animals when her father worked at a quarry and would often bring lost or injured animals’ home. Her love of animals stayed but then she became especially fond of horses. This became her passion she shared with her daughter along with barrel racing. She met Dan Beesley and they married in June of 2000. Cindy was able to get Dan involved in the barrel racing world. Together they traveled and ran barrels all across Oklahoma. Cindy was a member & officer of many barrel racing groups and associations. Cindy would encourage many people over the years to enter the barrel racing scene. She would offer her horseman ship advice to those who were in need of some assistance.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Ben and Regena. She is survived by her husband Dan Beesley, her most beloved Blue Heeler dog Drover, daughter Kim Lane and husband Kyle, brothers Phil Grove, Larry Ryan, sister Aleda Stevens and a half-sister Nila McQuin, four grandchildren Montana, Mariah, Izzy and Alex and two stepsons Danny Jr. and Kevin Beesley. She will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.
Viewing and visitation will be 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2023, at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tommy Tidwell officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to one of the following charities: Oklahoma Alliance for Animals or Lewy Body Dementia Association, you may visit the websites to make a donation.
