Brittny Christine Nicole Bush's Obituary
Brittny Christine Nicole Bush, 27 of Okmulgee passed from this earth on September 3, 2017 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Brittny is survived by her mother Patricia Thompson and step dad Tim Thompson of Okmulgee, her father David Bush Sr. and step mother Sammi Bush of Okmulgee, a son Keagan Thompson, brothers David Bush Jr., Kyle Bush, Matthew Finley, Jacob Finley, sister Nicole Garrett, and best friend/sister Tracey Gardner all of Okmulgee, grandmother Mary Johnson, Joyce Burklin, Faye Bush of Okmulgee and Judy Holmes of Henryetta, grandfather Clifford Holmes of Henryetta, aunts Debbie Hall, Georgia Boss, Kimberly Holmes of Okmulgee, Jessica Holmes of Henryetta, and Cathy Siedlik of Broken Arrow, uncles Darel Bush, Len Payne, Jimmy Burklin, Ron Siedlik, Joseph Siedlik, Robert Love, Michael Siedlik all of Okmulgee, and Christopher Holmes of Henryetta. She has numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Darrell Bush, Clarence Siedlik, James Johnson and Leroy Burklin of Okmulgee, and great grandmother Joy Henderson.
I don't believe Brittny ever met a stranger, she has numerous friends. She like to ride horses, quad runner's and do anything that involved getting muddy. Brittny had a great talent for drawing. She was a head strong person and always went her own way. That way was usually the hard road but it made her the person that was strong enough this last six months to overcome a drug addiction and become the beautiful person she was meant to be. She turned her life around for the better. Brittny made her mother very proud. Her mother got to spend the last six months with a daughter not an addict, something she had always desired but never had. Her son got a friend back that he loved and was drawn to and relationships were restored with her step dad, dad, and step mom. She had a smile that lit up a room and an infectious giggle. Brittny will be greatly missed by many and remembered by all.. Fly high my angel, Momma loves you.
Services for Brittny will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Compass Assembly Church in Okmulgee with Pastor Rex McDowell officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 12:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Pallbearers will be Wesley Oneil, Fern Rodriguez, (Dj Phluf) Robert Love, Robert Segrees, Lewis Stills, and Hunter Woodward
Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
