Bobby Ray Carter's Obituary
Bobby Ray Carter passed away on December 12, 2022, in Wylie, Texas, at the age of 36. He was born to Rhonda Carter January 23, 1986, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Bobby attended school in Jenks but graduated from Hope Academy in Tulsa. He later attended and graduated from Lincoln Tech in Grand Prairie, Texas where he earned a degree as an auto mechanic. He began working for Wal-Mart in the auto-motive department, while starting BC Auto Mechanic. Bobby worked for Wal-Mart for 15 years, working his way up to Assistant Manager. Bobby had a life changing event that led him to take a different career path, becoming a personal trainer.
Bobby was an avid lover of old cars. That is what led him to become an auto mechanic.
Bobby is preceded in death by his grandparents Beverly Jefferson and Jesse Carter.
He is survived by his mother Rhonda Carter-Brown and husband Alan of Tulsa, OK, siblings Jerome Vaden of Frisco, TX, Kenneth Vaden Jr. and Marcia of Beggs, OK, Misty Carter of Wichita, KS, LaTasha Gaines and husband Amos Jr. of Beggs, OK, Brian Carter of Bartlesville, OK, Jason Carter and wife Ashlea of Blanchard, OK, and Ava Carter of Richardson, TX, aunts and uncles Richard Jefferson, Rickey Ogans, Darrell Carter, Dannie Carter, Janet Carter, Stevie Carter, Beverly Elaine Irvin, Tracy Carter, and Donald Carter.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday, December 19, 2022, at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Beggs. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at First Baptist Church South in Beggs, Oklahoma, with Pastor Greg Lewis officiating. Committal will follow at the Beggs Cemetery with Jerome Vaden, Kenneth Vaden, Jr., Brian Carter, Jason Carter, Josh White, and Tyler Carter serving as casket bearers, flower girls will be Micha Carter, Arionne Carter, Myla Vaden, Brionna Carter, and Samari Carter.
