Billy Jack Chastain-Smith's Obituary
Billy Jack Chastain-Smith (BJ) went home to be with the Lord on October 14,2022 at the age of 30. He lived in Okmulgee, Oklahoma all his life.
He was born November 4, 1991, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Billy Gene Smith Jr. and Monnie Alice Chastain-Smith.
Bill was a handyman; he could work on anything. He loved to work on his bikes. He worked for R & S Collision for many years off and on and learned to paint cars. Randy had a special place in his heart for Billy, he would call him his “prodigal son”. He loved his children, and his children loved him. Bill went to live with his grandparents at the age of nine. That is when all the cousins made a huge bond with each other. Everyone lived down the block from each other and hung out every day.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents Billy Smith, Jr. and Monnie Dugger, grandparents Nancy Crawford and William Chastain, paternal grandparents Billy Gene Smith, Sr., brothers Mark Chastain Smith, Wyatt Smith, and Truman Smith.
He leaves behind the love of his life Megan Gordon, children Ryot Chastain, Heavenly Chastain, Tyson Bible and Emery Bible, sister Monnie Dienara Smith, Grandmother Milissia Smith, sister-in-law Jessica Chastain, niece Gracie Chastain, nephew Tucker Chastain, aunts and uncles Jon and Tracie Chastain, Tammy and Bruce Marrs, Judy Hurst and Buck Wadley, and Rachel Smith, cousins Jon Chastain and wife Ashley, Ashley Carnes and husband Kevin, Buddy Hurst III and wife Katie, Lucas Chastain, Clint Chastain, Mercedes Hurst, John Ross Potter, Ryan Potter, Gabriel Williams, special friends Randy Kimbley, Sammy and wife Becca Pequano, and Chase Pequano.
Family and friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2022, at The Refuge Church with Pastors Rocky Ausbrooks and Ethan Dover officiating.
Casket bearers will be Buddy Hurst III, Jon Chastain, Clint Chastain, Lucas Chastain, Kevin Carnes, and Ryan Potter.
