Betty Jean (Heiter) Stanley's Obituary
Betty Jean (Heiter) Stanley, 57, resident of Glenpool, died in Tulsa on Sunday, January 30, 2011. Betty was born on January 17, 1954 in Great Bend, Kansas to Kenneth Heiter and Wanda (Piland) Conaway. In 1974 she married Jerry Stanley in Okmulgee. She enjoyed crocheting, canning and was her kids and grandkids #1 fan at their sporting events. Betty was a member of the Faith Church.
Her parents preceded her in death. Betty is survived by her husband Jerry Stanley of the home, two sons: Jason Stanley and wife Crissy of Claremore and Clinton Stanley of Glenpool, granddaughter Bailey, grandson Kaden, one brother Chuck Conaway of Great Bend, Kansas, a sister Christi Gilroy of Beggs, nieces and nephews: Aaron, Chelsey, Dallas, Dakota, Brittanie, Rowdy, Justin Jonathan, Lucas and Bryle and many other relatives and friends.
Services for Betty will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee with Pastor Greg Conner and Reverend Jason Cowan officiating. Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Casket bearers are her two sons Jason and Clinton, Chuck Conaway, Rowdy Wilbourn, John Heiter, Troy Piland and Darrell Piland. Honorary casketbearers are Lucas Stanley, Dallas Doll, Dakota Conaway and Justin McGinnes. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 1-8 P.M.
