Barbara Jean Baldridge's Obituary
Barbara Jean Baldridge,79, a resident of Beggs passed from this life on October 20, 2021 in Tulsa. She was born July 16, 1942 to the late Haden Wilbourn and Margie (Harris) Wilbourn. Barbara grew up in Nuyaka and graduated from Okmulgee. She married Michael Baldridge in Miami, Oklahoma on February 27, 1960. The two moved to Beggs and were together for 51 years before his passing in 2011. She has been part of the Beggs community for 42 years. Barbara enjoyed playing card games and fishing. She was crafty and loved decorating her yard for the holidays. Barbara’s pride was in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Haden and Margie “Crazy” Wilbourn; husband Michael Baldridge; sisters Carrie Harris, Sue Ford, Mary Dunn, and Sharlene “Corky” Fischer. Barbara is survived by her children Lynn Stockton, Jenny Branson, Eddie Baldridge, LaDonna Prideaux and husband Sydney, Jeff Baldridge and wife Amanda, and Trittany Baldridge; grandchildren Terry Stockton and wife Lacy, Angela Stapleton and husband Tyler, Austin Stockton and girlfriend Jayde, Larry Branson and wife Sarah, Jennifer Branson, Pat Branson and wife Keesha, Kassie Crook and husband Rick, Shaila White and husband Brian, Stephanie and Heather Adams, Maddison Prideaux, Jalee, Eddieson, and girlfriend Burgundy, Sheridan and boyfriend Austin, Havana, Teagyn, Leightyn, and Koltyn Baldridge; sister Betty Melton and husband Dennis; and 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday October 26, 2021 at the Beggs Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home Monday from 1:00pm –7:00pm with family present from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
