B. F. Wilkerson's Obituary
B.F. Wilkerson 83, a resident of Okmulgee died in Okmulgee on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. He was born in Disney, Oklahoma on April 3, 1930 to Ben and Georgia Wilkerson. B.F. had worked for the Texaco/Chevron Corporation in Tulsa until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Okmulgee. His parents and a sister Cloann preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Norma Jean Wilkerson of the home, two daughters; Norma Jean Hobgood of Sapulpa, Ok, and Alyce Korb of Glenpool, OK, two sons Wesley Wilkerson of Bristow, and Bobby Wilkerson and one-step daughter Linda Northcross of Henryetta, OK.
Viewing will be on Friday, August30, 2013, 12 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be on Saturday, 1:00 PM at the McClendon-Winters Chapel with Dr. Dennis Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Beggs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ben Edmisten, John Korb, Joe Northcross, Neal Brigance, John Jackson and Jerry Rucker.
