Anthony "Boi" Thomas' Obituary
Anthony Thomas of Okmulgee was born on September 14, 1984 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Anthony was known as "Boi" by everyone who knew him and had a great personality and smile. He could easily make friends with anyone. His hobbies were fishing and texting on his phone. Anthony was blessed when brought into the world to his parents Norma Thomas and Bobby King. After almost a year he gained another set of parents who raised him to adulthood and to who he was to become.
Anthony is survived by his parents of the home, Joe and Frieda Tulsa, of Okmulgee. Four sisters, Candace Taylor of Henryetta, Adriana Gonzalez of Tulsa, Aracely Faez of Tulsa, and Becky Tulsa of the home. Three brothers, Adrian Gonzalez of Tulsa, David Thomas of Tulsa, and Derek Thomas of the home. Grandparents, Edmond and Hattie Birdcreek of Henryetta and Wilson and Wanda King of Okmulgee. Anthony had a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, along with numerous cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend John Wayne Tulsa and Reverend Mitchell Taylor will officiate. Pallbearers will be Scott King, Robert Birdcreek, LaRon Robinson, Lindell Berryhill, Eric Mitchell, Mike Marshall, Mose Factor and Jose Ortiz. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jamie Mitchell, Adrian Mitchell, Derek Thomas, David Thomas, Joseph Ortiz, Jesse Ortiz and Jim Factor. Burial will follow at the Factor Family Cemetery in Ryal. A wake service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 6 p.m. at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel.
