Ann Wares' Obituary
Ann Wares passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her home in Okmulgee. she was 76 years old. She was born to the late James and Edith (Campbell) Dailey in Wagoner, Oklahoma on September 11, 1942. Ann worked for the Okmulgee Public Schools for forty-six years before she retired from the High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Okmulgee Service League, Jaycees, OEA, and NEA.
Preceding Ann in death are her parents, husband Kenneth Eugene Wares, Sr., siblings Irmalee Hogan, Betty Kennedy, Ruth Cress, Edna Smith, John Dailey and in laws.
Those left to cherish all of the wonderful memories of Ann are her children Kathy Wares, Kenneth E. Wares, Jr., and Joe Wares, grandchildren Corey Beasley of Shawnee, James Wares and wife Hannah of Morris, Emily Booker and husband Matt of Medon, Tennessee, Josh Wares and wife Kylea of Okmulgee, Jacob Wares and wife Paige of Morris, Maci Wares and Blake Wares both of Okmulgee, and eight great grandchildren.
Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
