Amy Nichole Maxey's Obituary
Amy Nichole Maxey, age 26, passed away on March 5, 2026, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was born on October 18, 1999, in Paris, Texas, to Jarvis Maxey and Nancy (Osborne) Maxey.
Amy graduated from high school and went on to work in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), dedicating her time to caring for others. She had a quiet, gentle nature and was known for being an introvert who enjoyed the comfort of home. Despite her love for staying in, Amy had a creative spirit and a deep appreciation for art. She dreamed of one day becoming a tattoo artist.
In her free time, Amy enjoyed scrolling the internet, googling anything that sparked her curiosity, fishing, drawing, and spending time with friends. Above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her daughters and loved being at home with them. Amy was also a proud member of the Eastern Star organization.
Amy is survived by her two beloved daughters, Zahara Maxey and Love Maxey; her parents, Jarvis Maxey and Nancy (Osborne) Maxey; her brother, James Maxey; her sister, Paula Maxey Warren; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends from all over who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Karen McVay; her uncle, Wesley Osborne; and her grandparents.
Amy will be remembered for her kind heart, creative soul, and the love she had for her family, especially her daughters. Her memory will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
