Alma "Darlene" Jackson's Obituary
Alma Darlene (Baker) Jackson passed from this life in Beggs on May 4, 2026. She was 88 years old. She was born on April 8, 1938, in Yeager, Oklahoma, then grew up in Spaulding and Holdenville. On November 22, 1955, she married John Weldon Jackson in Wewoka. She loved playing games, especially with grandkids, eating pizza, and watching Oklahoma City Thunder basketball. She was a member of Nuyaka Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by Weldon, her husband of 54 years, and by her parents. She was survived by three children: son, Reverend Robert and wife Lorretta of Owasso, daughter, Pam Green of Beggs, and son, Reverend Randy and wife Sherry of Beggs; her grandchildren, Robert II, Ryan, Kyle, Kirk, Kara, Kodi, Michelle, Matt, Justin, Brittany, Jared, and Bethany; her 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Jones and brother, Tommy Gentry; and a special caregiver, Kevin Decker.
Funeral services will be held at Fireside Mounds Church on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 10 A.M. with Reverend Chad Eads officiating. Interment will occur at Beggs Cemetery. The casketbearers will be grandsons. Friends may visit the funeral home in Beggs on Sunday, May 10, from 2 P.M. - 6 P.M., and the family will be available from 4 P.M. - 6 P.M.
