Cathy Marie Crowe

Cathy (Tyler) Crowe passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 72. Cathy was born on March 6, 1953, in Bristow, Oklahoma, to the late William and Sarah (Thorton) Tyler. She was the youngest of ten siblings and grew up surrounded by the love and laughter of a large, close-knit family. A graduate of Beggs High School, Class of 1971, Cathy loved playing basketball and cherished every moment on the court, especially her senior year, when her dedication and passion for the game truly shined. She married Richard Lin Crowe on April 21,1972. They enjoyed 43 years together; they built a loving home for their two children. They enjoyed trail riding with her beloved Quarter Horse, Classy. Cathy dedicated 38 years of service to the Beggs School System, where her kindness and smile touched the lives of countless students. She found joy in baking for her family—cookies were her specialty. She loved treasure hunting at yard sales, estate sales, and antique stores - always on the lookout for Pyrex or beautiful dish-ware to add to her collection. She also enjoyed trips to the beach, where she loved walking along the shore and collecting seashells. At home, Cathy tended to her flowers and delighted in watching the deer that visited her backyard. But above all, Cathy loved her family—especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and joy. Her life was a true reflection of strength and faith. Through every challenge, she faced each day with grace, courage, and an unshakable trust in God‘s plan. She showed those around her what it meant to persevere with hope, to love deeply, and believe steadfastly. Her legacy will live on in the faith and resilience of those she loved most. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and siblings Carl Tyler, Dorothy Tyler-Cox, Johnny Tyler, Mary Tyler-Casillas, Richard Tyler, and Shirley Tyler-Robinson. She is survived by her brother Ronnie Tyler, and two sisters Doris Crawford and Sharon Berg. Her daughter Jami Carter and husband Brian; her son Randy Crowe (Monyca Speer and children Maroc, Malexus, and Macley Speer); grandchildren Madison Carter (Christian Steichen) and Dillon Carter (Heidi Ramos); two great grandchildren Eli Michael and Emmy Lynn Carter, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be 1:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 6, 2025, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, November 7, 2025, at the McClendon-Winters Funeral home chapel with Brother Romme Pate officiating. Interment will follow at the Beggs Cemetery.
