This is well after the fact, but if anyone reads this they will know you continue to be remembered fondly. You were one of the most fun-loving guys I've ever known. Talking with you during high school study hall was a hoot. Oh, how you loved to talk about hunting . . especially coon hunting. I dreamed of seeing you again at the 50th class reunion. Neither one of us made the event, but you may have put in an appearance in spirit. You were sweet, funny and three times as cute! You were loved by many and will be sorely missed. Congratulations to your wife for landing a great prize and your children were surely blessed to have you for a Dad! I miss you, dear friend.
Dad I sent you a butterfly, a butterfly means freedom, and you are free from all your pain and being sick all the time and having a bad heart. You are the best man I've ever known, I told you before you are my hero. You are so thoughtful and kind to everyone around you, and will help others and never want anything back. Today was so beautiful, I appreciate all our family and friends who came to say their goodbyes. I feel like I'm in a dream so instead of saying goodbye, I'll just say "I'll see you later", watch over me and help guide me through each and everyday. My brother Carl was always busy. It sure wasn't easy for him to sit down these last years when his health issues were failing. He fought the good fight during many surgeries wihen God extended his life each time. This time " thy will be done in heaven and on earth" was the decision made by the great I am! Carl was saved by the Grace of God thru his faith in what Jesus Christ did for him on the cross. God first loved us. He made a way for us to have a relationship with him thru Jesus Christ. Carl not only read the bible almost every day but he studied it. His life proved his love for others. He knew love was an action not just a word. Carl would tell you today that what really matters in life is what you do in love for God and others. I will miss him and always remember all the good times. I loved him and will see him again in heaven eternally with our Lord Jesus Christ.

He was great to work with.I remember being put on 11 bulk without much training and I called upkeep a number of times that night,he never got mad,never said an unkind word,he was very patient.I learned a lot by watching him.He was/is a great man

I was good friends with Carl, Joe Davenport and Bobby Micheau in the late 60's. You couldn't have asked for better friends. We had so much fun when we girls and the guys would just sit and talk on a Friday and Saturday night. Rest in Peace, Carl. You will be greatly missed.
He worked with my dad at Ball they both retired from there and worked together. He will be missed by all who knew him. Prayers for you all!!
