Wendall Leon Haworth Jr.

Wendall Leon Haworth, Jr. was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 5, 1962 to Freda Rae (Sapp) Haworth and Wendall Haworth, Sr. He passed on October 4, 2020 in Morris at 58 years of age. Leon graduated from Morris High School in 1980 then went on to Oklahoma State University, gaining an Associates Degree in Business Management. He worked for many years with his father at the Parts Barn in Morris. Later he worked for Muscogee(Creek) Nation. Leon loved all OU sports. He was a great brother and very kindhearted, always putting others first. His last big trip was to the Grand Canyon with his brother and sister. Leon’s considered his nieces and nephews his children and he loved the time he spent with them. He was preceded in death by his mother. Leon is survived by his father and step-mother, Wendall and Carolyn Haworth, siblings, Wade Haworth and wife Becky and Kara Kuhlman and husband Tim, step-siblings, Tracey Milling and husband Jimmy, Bryan Stevens and wife Lisa and Grant Stevens, nieces and nephews, Chris Fox, Cassady Crocker, Jesse Richel, Katie Thorman, Taylor Armstrong, Alison Brent, Adam Milling, Kayla Stevens, Aaron Milling and Shelby Stevens, numerous great nieces and nephews, aunt, Louise Moore and husband Don and uncle, Keith Haworth and wife Karen. Friends may visit the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Morris on Friday from 3:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. The family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Morris with Reverend Kendell Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery in Oilton, Oklahoma. Casketbearers will be Chris Fox, Jesse Richel, Tanner Armstrong, Trevor Thorman, Ephraim Fox, and Aaron Milling. Honorary casketbearers will be Ethan Crocker and Adam Milling. Memorial contributions may be made in Leon’s memory to XI DELTA PI (Sorority that helps underprivileged children) c/o American Heritage Bank, 202 N.
