Robert Lee Turner, 61 passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at his home. He was born to the late Lloyd and Bessie Nadine (Hammons) Turner in Ringling, Oklahoma on Saturday, March 5, 1955. Robert looked forward to going on walks on a beautiful day. He loved playing the drums, writing in the style of calligraphy, and looking at cars. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Emily Yvonne Turner, and brothers Thomas Edgar Turner, and Donald Ray Turner. Left to cherish all the wonderful memories of Robert are his sons Jared Turner and fiancé Mary of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Christian Turner and wife Shenandoah of Shawnee, Oklahoma, brothers Marshall Dean Turner, Dennis Dewayne Turner of Warner, Oklahoma, sisters Linda Marcell Trimmell and husband Carl of Arkansas, Janice Elaine Turner of Warner, Oklahoma, and Brenda Kay Webster and husband Buddy of Warner, Oklahoma Funeral Services for Robert will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee with Pastor Larry Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
