Michael Sean Bear was born December 14, 1987 in Claremore, OK and passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018. Michael enjoyed taking care of his dogs, playing video games, and watching his favorite sports team OU and Dallas. In Michaels spare time he loved to chauffer his mom around and being her sidekick. He graduated from Commanche High School. He preceded in death by his father Ivan Bear Sr., maternal grandparents Pauline Simmers and Jimmy Grayson. Survivors include his mother Christine Bear of the home, grandmother Alice Freeman of Morris, siblings include four sisters Christina McMillian and husband Ken of Mustang, Lisa Bear-Clark of Del City, Shelia Smith and husband Kevin of Moore, and Bonnie Rodriquez and husband Martin of Duncan, two brothers Ivan Bear Jr. of Okmulgee and Jason Bear of Okmulgee. He leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10:00a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Belvin Baptist Church in Okmulgee. Final resting place will be at the Miller Family Cemetery. Family asks that you come join them afterwards for dinner at the church. Casketbearers will be Brian Jones, Corey Love, Patrick Jones, Jeremy Monahwee, Yommie Monahwee, Jr. John Bear, and Aaron Jones. Honorary casketbearers will be Jesse Bear, Mike Manley, Stephon Hall, EJ Hall, Braeden McMillian, Anthony Grayson and Terry Jones. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon from 2:00-4:00pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel, followed by refreshments at the Belvin Baptist Church in Okmulgee. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
