Juanita Jane Long

December 29, 1932 - March 17, 2022

Juanita Jane Long, a long-time resident of the Wilson community, left this life for her heavenly home on Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was met by her Savior, Jesus Christ, and reunited with the love of her life, Harold, and many other beloved family members. Juanita and her late husband Harold Long Sr. ranched and farmed their entire lives, while raising their family. Harold worked in the oilfield and Juanita was a partner, wife, mother, and grandmother. Juanita was known for her unshakeable faith and her great love for her family. She loved animals, both wild and tame, gardening and ranching. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Long Sr., a daughter, Katherine Hrasch, a son, Ricky Long, grandchildren, Jeffrey Mahan Jr., Clayton Fisher and Dalton McCormick, parents, Joseph and Lottie Starkey, and siblings, John Starkey and wife Evelyn, Lois Gasaway, JoAnn Gartrell, Leon Chaffin, and Mae Cook. She is survived by her children, Bobby Long and wife Linda of Depew, Joyce Thomas of Okemah, Darlene Fox and husband Bill of Okemah, Renee Mahan and husband Jeff of Wilson, Harold Long Jr. and wife Angela of Hanna, Kristy Been of Okemah, and Seana Baker and husband Jonah of Okemah, her grandchildren, Carol Robertson, Bobby Long Jr., Billie Jo McCormick, Rachel McKay, Billy McCormick, Thomas Louis Hrasch III, Mandi Atwell, Randi Roberts, Matthew Mahan, Jonathon Mahan, Madison Long, Wyatt Long, Harold Long III, Ethan Been, Ashton Been, LillyAnn Baker, and LilaJo Baker and her siblings, Henry Starkey, Betty Baldridge and husband Fred, Helen Hurt and husband Woody, and Jean Foster and husband Charles. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held 3:00 P.M., Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Wilson Salt Creek Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma with Reverend Clint Sinclair officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the funeral home. Honorary pall bearers include Bill Fox, Steve Cheatwood, Kenny Winn, Billy McCormick, Jonah Baker, Bobby Long Jr., Matt Mahan, John Mahan, Thomas Hrasch III, Ethan Been, Ashton Been, Madison Long, Wyatt Long, and Harold Long III. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
