Jimmy Ray Chrysler passed away suddenly November 8, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa with his family by his side. Jimmy was born to James Leo and Betty Annie Louise (Dry) Chrysler on December 22, 1951. He attended school in Tulsa and was a 1970 graduate of Daniel Webster High School. Jimmy served in the United States Air Force for four years and four months, receiving an honorable discharge in 1975. Jimmy worked for a short period of time for Unit Rig and Equipment while waiting for a position with the U.S. Postal Service, from which he retired on June 30 of 2019 with 42 years of service. Jimmy was preceded in death by all of his grandparents, his mother Betty Annie Louise Chrysler, his sister Shirley Tillman, father-in-law Rudolph Gonzales, Sr., and a great grandson Lane Austin Honeycutt. Jimmy leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 45 ½ years, Mary Lou Chrysler. Daughters Annette McIntosh and Tony of Tulsa and Hope Ross and Robbie of Beggs. Seven grandchildren Katie Honeycutt and Austin, Avery, Hannah Rae, and Braden Ivins, Audrey and Emma McIntosh, and Marshall Ross. Three great grandchildren Lawson, Marley Kate, and Luke Honeycutt. His father James Leo Chrysler of Tulsa. Siblings Johnny Chrysler and Melissa of Coweta, Julie Gillum of Ward, Arkansas, Elmer Chrysler and Becky of Sapulpa, and Bobby Chrysler and Judy of Sapulpa. Mother-in-law Ola Gonzales of Beggs. Brothers and sisters-in-law Debra Clayton of Tulsa, Rudolph Gonzales, Jr. and Tina of Sand Springs, Vicki Heilaman and Jason of Yukon, and LaDonna Gonzales and Leslie of Mounds and numerous family members who love, respect and miss him until we meet again at Heaven’s Gates. Friends may visit the funeral home on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and the family will be present for visitation from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel of Beggs. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Mounds. Casket bearers will be Avery Ivins, Braden Ivins, Bubba Bishop, Derek Chrysler, Ron Walrath and Jim Stabler. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
