Hiroko "Koko" Modlin

October 18, 1934 - March 14, 2022

Hiroko “Koko” (Matsushima) Modlin was born Sunday, November 18, 1934 in Nagasaki, Japan and passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was a longtime Okmulgee resident and was a seamstress. She married David L. Modlin on July 31, 1978 in San Diego, California. Koko was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister. Survivors include a step-daughter, one brother, three sisters and many dear friends. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 25, 2022 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery Cremation Garden. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
