Hazel Louise McElroy passed away on Wednesday May 6, 2020 at the age of 86. She was born to the late Ethmer Ed Peters and Ardie (Fry) Peters born on Tuesday, November 14, 1933. Hazel loved to quilt, knit, crotchet, and gardening. She kept herself busy rather she was inside or outdoors enjoying a beautiful day. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband James McElroy, brother Eddie Lee Peters, sister Myrtle Peters, nephew Randall Leon Perry. She is survived by her sister Doris Reib of Collinsville, nephews Bruce Wall of Texas, John Peters of California, and Aaron Lee Peters of Okmulgee, niece Diana Dipboye of Claremore and sister-in-law Gloria D. Peters of Okmulgee. A private family ceremony will be held at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee
