Eunice Inez Whisenhunt

August 7, 1934 - February 26, 2022

Eunice Inez Whisenhunt, age 87 was born August 7, 1935, in Jefferson City, MO to Dewy and Grace (McGuffe) Tabor. She passed on February 26, 2022, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was one of six siblings born into the marriage. After she was born the family moved to Colorado for a short time and then they made their way to Liberty Morris, Oklahoma by the way of the War Train. Eunice married the love of her life Kenneth Wayne in May of 1953, before her graduation from Liberty Morris High School. They moved to California where Eunice took a job with Rockwell International, they lived in California for 35 years before moving back to Bixby, Oklahoma. While in California they had a son Larry who was born in April of 1954. She continued to work for Rockwell International until her retirement. Then she went on to become a real estate agent. Eunice is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, son Larry who passed in 1989, and sister Dottie Tabor. She is survived by sisters, Betty Workman of Tulsa, Mabel Breeding of Tulsa, JoAnn Ledford of Okmulgee, and Doris Jolliff and husband Doug of Liberty-Morris. Services will be held at Okmulgee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Christ Cupboard Morris, OK or to the ASPA Shelter in memory of Eunice. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
