Edyth Louise Bonham was born September 15, 1949, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to the late Esmule and Bernice (Ikard) Deeds. She passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, in Tulsa at seventy-two years of age. Edyth’s father was in the military and the family lived all over the world. She attended school in Germany. She married Lawrence Louis Bonham on January 25, 1968, in Miami, Florida. Edyth loved to travel and enjoyed sharing her experiences with others. Upon Lawrence’s discharge from military service in 1979, they made their home in Beggs. She earned her Master’s Degree in Family Relations and Child Development from Oklahoma State University. Edyth was a member of the First Christian Church in Okmulgee and the Home Extension Club. She loved canning, sewing and growing plants, and she received numerous awards for her salsa. She also collected dolls from around the world. Those preceding her in death were her parents, husband, grandparents, Helen and Jim Ikard and an uncle, Alfred Deeds. Survivors include her children, Helen Hurst and husband Kenny, Lawrence Bonham III and wife Stacy and Sara Bonham and husband Leo Di Bello, grandchildren, Lydia Murphy and husband Colin, Kendra Bittencort and husband Aryss, Lauren Hurst, Zachery Bonham and fiancé’ Lacey Hickey and Maxwell Bonham, sisters, Denese Deeds and husband David Gioello, Kathy Deeds, and Angela Rath and husband Bill, nieces and nephews, Michael Gioello and wife Kamilla and their daughter, Gemma, Chandra Gioello and husband Amine Rachdi, Dan Lynch, Stephen Lynch and Jessica Lynch. Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. The family will be present from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. for visitation. A funeral service to celebrate Edyth’s life will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 9, 2022, at the First Assembly of God Church in Beggs with Reverend Robert Yandell officiating.
