Cody Lee Ashlock

July 8, 1985 - March 24, 2022

Cody Lee Ashlock Sr. ended his journey on March 24th, 2022 at the age of 36 years old. He was born July 8th 1985 to Loyd Ashlock Sr. and Kelly (Claborn) Ashlock in Okmulgee, OK. He lived in Okmulgee and attended Okmulgee Schools where he played baseball. He worked with his dad on his milk route for several years. Cody loved his family and enjoyed taking the kids to the park and helping his nieces. He also enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his father Loyd Ashlock Jr., his brother Loyd Ashlock Jr. and a very special friend Virginia Toney, all his grandparents and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his mother Kelly Claborn Ashlock of Okmulgee, his son Cody Lee Ashlock Jr. of Carrollton, TX, nieces Jordon Burks of Bristow, Natalie Burks of Okmulgee, and Kaley Ashlock of Dewar, one great nephew Leo “Towe” of Bristow, one uncle Rick Claborn of Vinita, OK, and several cousins. Private family services for Cody will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
