CHARLES WILLIAM LeGRAND JR. known to most of us as Bill aka Bill Bill Born March 9, 1970 to Charles “Billy” LeGrand Sr. and Brenda Tolbert LeGrand in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Left this earth on April 10, 2022 at the age of 52 years, 1 month, and 1 day. Proceeded in death by father Billy LeGrand, Grandparents Marcel P. LeGrand, Pearl Jean LeGrand, Claudette Sampson, Uncles Ellis Tolbert, Jimmy LeGrand and Joe LeGrand, Aunts Carol Morgan, Viola Tolbert, Sandy Torix-Wall, Jean LeGrand, Cathy LeGrand, Cousins Sandra Harvey, Mike LeGrand, and Hailey Teague. Survived by mother Brenda LeGrand of the home, sisters Misty Brooks of Okmulgee, Jalie Morrow and wife Brooke of Broken Arrow, Nephews Jacob Brooks and Mason Morrow, Nieces Jolie Jane Brooks and Cassidy Wind. Uncle Catfish George and Aunt Peggy Legrand, Uncle Pete LeGrand, Aunt Annie Estep, Aunt Susie Lane, Great Aunts Rita Aylor, Karen Thery and Bonnie Marris, great uncle, Kenny Thery and multiple cousins who were more than cousins they were his best friends. Several lifetime friends that were very special to him. Bill was definitely one of a kind and those that knew him would agree. He had a huge heart and was always there to rescue those in need. Bill loved OU Football, Star Trek, Legos and his BIG BOY TOYS and as we all know he only had the best. The one thing Bill truly loved was his family. Bill was a proud graduate of Okmulgee Bulldog class of 1988. He loved his classmates and they were very special to him. Bill also studied Electrical Engineering at OSU and graduated class of 1992. Bill worked as a draftsman for several years until his recent illness. Through all his life struggles Bill never gave up he never said I can’t and when life gave him an obstacle he found a way. Pallbearers: Shane Morrow, Steve Nelson, Rocky Baker, Chris Morrow, Jonathan Brooks, Buddy Visser, Paul Harjo and Johnny Grammer. Honorary “Bill” Bearers: Shannon Whomble-Williams and Christy Downing-Parker Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, April 15, 2022, from 3:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 18, 2022 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Litsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
