Bobby E Martin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bobby “Bob” E. Martin, longtime Beggs resident passed away on July 23, 2022 in Sapulpa, OK. He was born to Amos and Nora (Cullom) Martin on July 21, 1936, in Tuskegee, OK. Bob attended school and graduated from Beggs High School. After graduation he joined the Army National Guard. After his return he married Mary (Horn). He became a welder and worked for several companies before opening his own business. After he retired, he worked as a custodian for Beggs Public Schools. Bob was a staple in the crowd at his granddaughter’s softball games. Bob didn’t venture far from the Beggs area unless it was to go to work or his grandkids. Bob stayed busy raising wolfhounds, chickens, and fishing for catfish.’ Bob is preceded in death by his parents Amos and Nora, wife Mary, and brother Bill Martin. He is survived by sons Randy Martin of Beggs, Rick Martin and wife Karmen of Beggs, grandchildren Ryan Blankenship and husband Tyler, Shae Martin, McKenzie Jenkins, and Chasitie Seaton and husband Justin, great-grandchildren Ryder Jenkins, Rhett Jenkins, Max Seaton, Tytus Seaton, and one on the way Payton Butler. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, July 29, 2022 at Crossroads Baptist Church Beggs, OK with Gary Honeycutt and David Hamilton officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Mickey Shaffer, Jon Shaffer, Chase Shaffer, Justin Seaton, Dustin Chambers, Michael Chambers, Tyler Blankenship, Tony Horn, Gary Graham and Mark Smith. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.
