Angela D. Forrester
January 25, 1943 - April 4, 2020
Angela was the strongest person we had ever met. She born in Eram, Oklahoma to the late William and Hester (Rutherford) Perkins on Monday, January 25, 1943 with six brothers already ahead of her. Angela was raised from the time she was five years old by her now only surviving brother Earl and his wife Raybelle. Angie married Tom and they had two children together, Michael Thomas and Sonja Mechelle. She then married the love of her Christopher Forrester and together they had a daughter Christy Anne. Christopher passed away in the 80's. Angie loved cutting hair on the side but her main job was being an Okmulgee Public School Bus Driver. Angie's ability to sew a dress and make homemade dresses would have put the department stores out of business. Angie passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2020. She is no longer here to touch our hearts but she will forever be in our hearts. Angie is preceded in death by her husband Christopher Forrester, son Michael William Forrester, daughter Sonja Mechelle Vancil, brothers Bill, J.G., George, Frank, and Hubert Perkins. All of those left to cherish the memories of Angie is her daughter Christy Stogner, son-in-law Harley Vanil, grandchildren Ethan Kane Stogner, Hunter Wayne Stogner, Ares Bane Forrester, Stephen Vancil, Allorah Grace Vancil, Aaron Patrick Vancil, Christopher William Forrester, great grandson Adrin Dean Vancil, and brother Earl Perkins. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00p.m. A private family service will be held Friday, followed by burial in the Marlow Cemetery in Marlow, Oklahoma. The service will be available online beginning at 4:00 p.m. Friday April 10, 2020 by going to Angie's tribute page at https://www.mcclendon-winters.com/obituaries/Angela-Forrester/ Friends and family are encouraged to share memories, condolences, photos, and videos with family on Angie's tribute page.
