Scott Aaron Marshall

Scott Aaron Marshall passed away on April 9, 2026. He was born on September 12, 1959, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Dick D. Marshall and Patsy Ann (Harris) Marshall. Scott married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Bussey, on May 22, 1993, in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was a skilled carpenter who took great pride in his work and enjoyed making all kinds of things out of wood. His craftsmanship and creativity were evident in the pieces he built and the care he put into each project. Scott had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in life’s simple pleasures—traveling, mowing the yard, and sitting on the front porch watching the sunrise and sunset. Above all, Scott cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Whether he realized it or not, Scott was always teaching. He showed the boys in his life how to be men and the girls how they should be treated—with respect and care. He loved getting his grandchildren outside, teaching them how to fish and shoot, and sharing in their adventures. Scott also had an immense love for his dog, who was a constant companion and brought him great joy. Scott was known for his incredible sense of humor and quick wit. He always had a comeback ready and could make anyone laugh. To those who knew and loved him, he was truly a legend. He was a longtime member of the Methodist Church of Morris, where his faith was an important part of his life. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Patsy Marshall, grandparents, Rolin and Maxine Harris and G.E. and Alma Marshall, nephew, Justin Gameson, uncle and aunt, Bill and Lawanda Kiser, his in-laws, Willie Gene Bussey and Pat Heimer, brother-in-law, Danny Chasney, and sister-in-law, Vicki Crawford. He is survived by his wife, Trish Marshall, children, Jeff Marshall and wife Eva, Mike Marshall and wife Shay, and Amber Litton and husband Danny, grandchildren, Drake, Kai, Marshall, and Hanna, bonus grandchildren, Cash, Casen, Calam, and Isabelle, sister, Suzie Chasney, brother-in-law, Jeff Bussey and wife Irene, and Danny Gameson, nieces, Amanda Hutchinson and husband Jason and Misty Johnson and husband Jon, nephew, Drew Chasney and wife Maeghan, an aunt, Kay Marshall, and many other extended family members. Scott will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Scott’s family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
